Give Your Dog the Gift of the Outdoors
Your furry friend won’t spend much time in a pet kennel thanks to the large fenced-in area outside meant for your dog to roam, play, and run free throughout the day. All small dogs are watched when taken outside in the fenced yard Just to keep them safe an sound. However, when your pet is in one of our kennels, they’ll be held in a climate-controlled environment to prevent the effect extreme temperatures can have on animals, which could potentially be hazardous or cause health issues for your four-legged friend.
In addition to pet kennels and dog boarding, we also offer training classes. Whether your dog has behavioral problems or you want to teach your furry friend some new tricks, these classes will teach your dog obedience as well as how to be a good citizen in public.

Dog Boarding
At the Barking Palace, we make your dog's comfort and safety our top priority. The kennel location is climate controlled and supplied with a backup generator, ensuring your pet is never exposed to extreme temperatures due to power outages. Each kennel has individual access to the outdoor run and a large, fenced-in backyard that has both cement and grassy areas for playing. Plus, because Loretta lives on the property, you never have to worry about your dog being vulnerable to emergencies or left alone for long periods of time. Loretta is always at their beck and call! (Please note, all dogs must have the following shots prior to boarding: rabies, parvo booster, and Bordetella.)

1 Dog: $17 per day (not including day of pick up)
2 Dogs: $13 per dog, per day
3+ Dogs: $10 per dog, per day

6-Week Obedience Class
Our 6-week obedience course is offered for dogs of all ages (over 6 months), sizes, and breeds. During these courses, your dog will learn a variety of commands, including sit, lay down, stay, polite greetings, socialization, and more. We turn exercises into games and can also provide private training onsite or in your home. (Please note, all dogs must have the following shots before training: rabies, parvo booster, and Bordetella.)
8-Week Puppy Class

Our 8-week puppy class is offered for puppies of all sizes and breeds. At the Barking Palace, our goal is to help owners feel prepared to raise their furry friends safely and lovingly. During this course, we will teach you and your puppy all about obedience, play, socialization, potty training, bathing & grooming, nutrition, crate training, and more! Read below to learn more about what each topic will cover. Registration for this class begins on April 16th, 2021. (Please note, all dogs must have the following shots before training: rabies, parvo booster, and Bordetella.)
More About Our Puppy Class
Obedience & Play
Teaching your puppy basic commands, such as sit, stay, walking on a leash, and polite greetings. Teaching owners what toys are appropriate and the importance of playing with a puppy’s ears and feet.
Socialization
Teaching your puppy how to socialize with strangers and other animals in public spaces and at home. Providing owners with the proper knowledge regarding handling a fearful / anxious puppy.
Bathing & Grooming
Appropriate brushes, combs, and soaps to use and how often you should brush and bathe your puppy.
Potty Training
Teaching owners the do's and don'ts" of potty training including, but not limited to: creating a potty schedule, using pee pads, how often to take your puppy outside, and cleaning materials for accidents.
Nutrition
Teaching owners which foods to use for different puppy breeds and how to create a feeding schedule.
Crate Training
Teaching owners the "do’s and don’ts" of crate training including, but not limited to: crate sizes, what to do about accidents, how to feed a puppy in a crate, handling punishment, crate location in home, and acceptable crate items.
